As self confessed 'buggyholics' we are really pleased with our Petite Star Zia, although we did buy it for a specific purpose. We have three children and our youngest is now 2yrs, so we no longer need a big buggy for every day use. We have stored our Phil and Tedds away for holidays and family days out, but having used our new Petite Star Zia pushchair I doubt we will not need our Phil and Tedds again. We specifically wanted a buggy that would fold down and tuck into the tiny boot of our VW Touran when the rear 6th & 7th were up, the Petite Star Zia wheels pop off really easily so that the buggy fits perfectly into this small boot space and with room to spare :) Our 2yrs old is really comfy in the reclining seat and sleeps very happily in it. We have used the buggy a few times now and it is a dream to push/steer, turns really easily, is lovely and light weight for lifting in and out of the car and my husband who is 6ft4' likes the extending handles. The instructions warn you not to put bags on the back but we have and it is not a problem, in fact I would say our Maclaren tipped more easily with less bags on the handles. It was really nice to purchase a buggy that came with the rain cover and shopping carrier inclusive in the price and not as additional costs. I am certain that we shall get a lot of use from this fantastic buggy.
If any one is interested we have previously owned:
2004 - Jane Power Track (not great as its disc brake broke and we could not resolve a problem with the front wheel wobbling - literally had to throw it away!)
2006 - Jane Tandem Double Buggy (simply fantastic buggy for newborn and toddler that had long fresh air afternoon naps while out walking)
2008 - Maclaren (Not good, poor steering, heavy to push with sleeping toddler and big for car boot)
2010 - Bugaboo (Totally totally OVER RATED, did not stand up to twice daily school/nursery runs and long family walks, definitely over priced)
2011 - Phil and Tedds (Fantastic for busy family life, heavy but worth it!)
2012 - Petite Star Zia (Fantastic so far:)
