Our use of the Petite Star Zia is just about as rigorous as the Top Gear destruction test! We purchased ours just under 3 years ago (so the specs might be slightly different to the current model) and proceeded to put it to pretty arduous use.
What first attracted us to this product was its size when folded, as we were moving to live in Peru, South America, shortly after the birth of our daughter. We wanted a stroller that could be easily put into taxis, and that would give us flexibility in travel. The Zia more than exceeded our expectations. We used it intensively with our little girl from she was around 5 months old, right up until now (she turns 3 next month).
The portability of the stroller is excellent. We were able to place it in the footwell of some of the smallest taxis, and it was easy to put up and down - a must when boarding a taxi in inner city traffic. The wheels and frame are extremely durable, putting up with pot holes, rough ground and a host of other types of terrain which tested it to the limit. Our daughter was extremely comfortable, owing chiefly to the good suspension and the ability to put the seat back into a fully reclined position.
In essence we can't speak highly enough of this product, and would readily purchase another one in the future. In some people's minds the Zia is a cheap version of the Quinny equivalent, but it MORE than stands on its own as a high quality product.
The only negative we could identify was that the rain cover is extremely difficult to fit by comparison with other buggies and strollers.
