I bought a few packs of these at the same time, for teaching friends and for juggling myself.
For the price, they're just what's needed. They are also a good weight and size for learning with.
If you're thinking of taking up juggling, the advantage of this type of ball is that they don't roll away when you drop them too!
They're durable enough, and at a price that if you lose one, or give a set away to a friend so they can keep practising, it's no big deal.
A number of reviews talk about the smell of these juggling balls - yes there is a plastic-y odour when the packaging is first opened, but its not that bad, and if it does worry you, leave them in the garage or somewhere out of the way for a day or two and its gone. I've got a couple of balls here now, I've just given them a real good sniff and they smell just fine - so you should have no problem with smelly balls either!
