Peter Salisbury studied Chemistry at university and then spent over thirty years in classrooms across England teaching almost anything but chemistry.
Part time during the nineteen nineties, Peter Salisbury wrote non-fiction professionally, abstracting from patents of chemical inventions. He enjoyed the discipline of the abstract format and the insight into what constituted the white heat of new technology at the time.
Now retired, he has turned his mind to writing science fiction. His preferred genre is for science fiction that contains science, ie. sonic screwdrivers, rather than wands. Peter goes to considerable lengths to ensure that the science is included in such a way that it is still engaging for the general reader. At the same time, the science is made as futuristically realistic as possible.
