Peter pan is really a cruel, somewhat heartless and extremely egotistical person. Considering the fact that he is supposed to be "the ultimat child", that's a bit harsh an approach, I feel. How ever, the book is fascinating, full of everything an adventure story needs (chiefly pirates and indians...) and is full of wit and charm, as well as a few sentences I felt obligated to memorize. It's also a rather fresh attitude to life and innosence and childhood etc., to put against Disney's rather annoying one.
