This review is from: Peter O'Sullevan's Horse Racing Heroes (Hardcover)
for once. To me, no-one knows more about the ins and outs of horse racing than the author of this "must-read", Peter O'Sullevan.The doyen of the commentary-box he has sections on Fred Winter, Lester Piggott, the great Sea Bird and equally great Vincent O'Brien among others. It is written one can tell immediately by someone who has "inside-knowledge and contacts" in the sport and has both sad and comical tales. A well deserved maximum.
