Born in 1948 one of the "luckiest boomers" now researching "the nature of philanthropy, with regard to the boomer generation" at London South Bank University. Also Course Director and teaching on the very successful LSBU Masters programme of Management in Civil Society. Second Edition of "Marketing Strategy for Effective Fundraising" will be out Easter 2012 but in the meantime look out for papers and articles on the boomers and the "Spectrum of Philanthropy"
After a successful career in commercial marketing Peter has spent the last 20 years successfully fundraising as Director of Fundraising at: Arthritis Care, Leonard Cheshire and the Brooke Hospital for Animals.He is also chair of the Institute of Fundraising Consultants Special Interest Group and, unbeknown to many, is an aged rock god!
