Peter Jaggs has spent the best part of the last thirty years in Thailand. He is the author of sixteen books about the country which are available in paperback and e-book format. Peter started writing for fun and nobody was more surprised than himself to find his books reaching best-seller status on many distribution sites which specialize in material about Thailand. As well as his books, he has written many articles, short stories and series for English language newspapers in Thailand, including the Pattaya Mail and the Pattaya People Weekly. He has also made several appearances at ex-pat clubs and on television in Thailand. Peter Jaggs hs been described as something as a 'pioneer author' in Thailand, having written the first ever books published in the English language on the subjects of freshwater fishing and metal detecting. His other books include a novel, true travel adventures and 'From Beggar to Butterfly', a book of short stories, which was described in a review by the Bangkok Post as one of the best books on Pattaya written.
