This is a book that is easy to read and can be finished in a couple of evenings. It pulls no punches, and gives a frank and honest view of Pete - warts and all.
Perhaps what will remain in the readers mind, after the shock/horror of the drugs, etc, has faded, is his constant struggle in dealing with his Tourettes Syndrome, both internally and the reaction it provokes in other people, as well as how hard it is to cope with an incurable disability.
His ability to deal with his severe TS is both humbling and inspirational.
Of all the very many books written by ex-big brother contestants, this one is unique in that not only is it a good read, it has done so much for all the other people in the UK who suffer from TS, and have previously been regarded as freaks. This book has been of massive help to them in so many ways.
