If you've ever felt your heart sink as you realise that it's taken the best part of a month just to knit the back of a sweater, this is a truly brilliant book. A witty assortment of knitted pet accessories which make ideal presents and will only take a few days to make. A sense of humour is rare in any craft book but this assortment of patterns is genuinely amusing - you'd have to have a heart of stone not to be amused by the hamster house or the tortoise tent. Some of the loopier designs are clearly just for fun but pony-mad little girls would adore the designer horse blanket and any chilly dog would be proud to be seen in the smart canine coats. Football fanatics can even knit up football shirts for their hounds. A welcome change from cuddly-wuddly or arty-crafty knitting books.

What a fantastic book. I made the hampster house on the night I got the book with a few odd bits. My friend loved it and so did her hammy. I'm now in the process of making my greyhound a coat. I love this book! It is amusing, the patterns are easy to follow and include a difficulty rating. The pictures are cute - all in all I would reccomend this book to any animl lover.

We knew that pets deserved a place in the world of fashion and now Osborne and Muir have offered a brilliant and witty analysis. Stylish and necessary in every sense.
