Product Description
Snakes, insects and birds such as geese use the hiss sound to drive off predators and our domesticated pets have the same sensitivity to this sound. The Pet Corrector spray emits an inert gas (like fresh air) which mimics the loud hiss sound to interrupt undesirable behaviour. My son and his fiancee have a English Springer Spaniel pup that was continually biting and nipping people when they stroked him. He was also getting things he shouldn't have, such as socks and shoes. He would run off with them and then we were chasing him round the house trying to get them off him. We used this spray a few times and what a different dog he is. He allows people to stroke him and actually licks our hands, he loves coming up to us to be stroked. He is much calmer and if he does pinch anything, we only have to say "No!" and he usually drops it, if he doesn't then we just show him the spray and he stops.

Seems to work well with some dogs and not others,

We bought this to correct the behaviour of our Rottweiler who seems to have a pathological hatred of anything living that moves; children, cats, delivery men, most other dogs, runners etc etc. This product has worked really well and within a few weeks has gone a long way to stopping her errant behaviour. After a few sprays she got the message and now we only have to show her the can and she instantly stops trying to kill whatever it is that has dared to come anywhere near her. I have now started to see people near where we live out running again :)One observation is that I think the effectiveness of the product may be dependant on the type of dog you have. We also have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he isn't phased by the spray at all, in fact he just tries to eat it and thinks it's a game. I noticed another review where it had no effect on a Staffi, so maybe they are immune/too daft to get it.

This is a must item for people with a new puppy or dogs with behavioural problems. It is quite simply brilliant in my opinion. One quick spray accompanied by a 'No' when they start crying, barking or when they go to chew something they shouldn't and they are instantly deturbed. Excellent product and certainly appears to be working with our new addition.
