Ex-Doctor Who Jon Pertwee did write the witty preface for this book, but other than that it's all about chilling short stories featuring various creatures. This is actually one of the best collections of such tales out there, well worth seeking out. If you're lucky to read this book while in your more formative years, you'll remember these tales for the rest of your life.
