Product Description

Book Description

Personal Synthesis is the most comprehensive model of personal development available. All the areas that play a part in everyday life, such as self-awareness, reasoning, confidence, coping, motivation, communicating, relationships and many others, are brought together and organised into a map. The book provides illuminating insights drawn from many sources for each of them. And this is not all. There are also over a hundred practical methods and techniques, from unblocking emotions and conflict resolution to relaxation and meditation. It is an indispensable resource for those who want to be at the helm of their personal lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not your average self help book, 20 Mar 2006
A clearly written, well structured and wise book that addresses the universal themes common to the 'human condition'. Unlike the dirge of disposable self helpery available on the market, Popovic offers the reader geniune insight into the obstacles that block 'personal synthesis' and practical excercises on how to overcome them in clear and unpatronising language. The book is structured in such a way that it can either be read from beginning to end or picked up from time to time. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learning to understand ourselves, 3 Feb 2006
By Chloe Hutton (California, USA) - See all my reviews
Personal sythesis aims to cover all the different aspects of the way we think about and relate to ourselves, other people and the world. It is a book that you can pick up and flick through, only to find interesting perspectives on personal issues that are easy to relate to. Also it can be used as a reference book to investigate specific personal problems and conflicts. Furthermore, helpful practical exercises are suggested. It is much more than the average self-help book.
