The keyboard features media buttons on the top row, where the f- series of keys are placed, the keys are to be used in conjunction with the f-n key which is located next to the right alt key, this feature is very useful. It allows the user to alter volume, pause media and access the internet and email. A highly rated feature in my opinion.
On the left of the keyboard there are keys to alter keyboard related settings.
Keyboard lock key which prevents the use of keys, helpful for when viewing media.
Win lock key, this key prevents the use of the windows key which if on windows 8/8.1 can be annoying if pressed.
30/s & 60/s repeat rate key which changes the speed of the repeated keys.
Colour key, this key is self explanatory, you can choose between 3 colours, green, yellow, red & no backlit allowing some personalisation for your keyboard.
Brightness key, toggles between 100%, 60%, 30%, 0% and a mode which changes through the colours of the keyboard.
WASD key allows you to switch the arrow keys with the WASD keys so gaming can be easier for left handed mouse users.
The build quality of the keyboard is fantastic for its price range, the keyboard feels solid and sturdy, however one problem I found was when using the folding stands on the back of the keyboard it made moving the keyboard from its position relatively easy.
For gaming the keyboard is very good, key strokes at first were difficult but after a few presses they were lighter making pressing keys quicker and with less force, a win win for me.Read more ›

I'm actually impressed with the design of this keyboard, especially considering it is priced at only £21.99 (at time of this review). It takes on the shape of most keyboards but the palm rest area forms to create a pointy triangular shape.
Along the palm rest is a light up Perixx logo, that lights up with the rest of the keys.
Along the left hand edge of the keyboard are six different buttons, listed below:
Keyboard lock key (To disable all letter and number buttons on the keyboard)
Windows button lock key (Ideal for gaming situations, to prevent accidental opening of the windows home screen)
Repeat key speed selector (Choice of 30/s and 60/s)
W,A,S,D key lock
Back-light Colour selection key (Choice of Green, Red or Yellow)
Back-light brightness button (toggles between 100%, 60%, 30% and 0%)
In the top right hand corner of the keyboard are the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Win Lock light. These lights are set to one colour only, which is green.
The back light on this keyboard is quite impressive. It has three colours (Red, Green and Yellow) as-well as an off option. When turned on the keys and side switches as well as the logo and some lights to the right hand edge of the keyboard all light up. The gaps in between the keys however do not light up, but having used a keyboard with a blue back light in the past that lit up between the keys, I can actually say I prefer how this keyboard does it instead. There is also a button that can control the brightness of the back light.Read more ›
Features are really good for a cheap keyboard - the WSAD and arrow keys can be swapped with the press of a button on the left hand side, so it's great for left-handed mouse users. There are three colours of backlighting - green, yellow and red. The red is a bit dimmer than the green and yellow though. There are function key combos to launch things like Explorer, email and calculator. There's a Windows button lock and a complete keyboard lock.
And it's simplicity itself to use - no drivers needed, just plug and play!
Downsides are - no macro functions, no additional keys for macros. Just the basic UK extended keyboard keys. Left Shift key is no bigger than a normal letter key. The keys are a tiny bit more closely spaced than some other keyboards, so if you are a bit clumsy when typing or have extra large fingers you might want to look elsewhere, as you might find yourself hitting two keys at once. The characters on the keys are a little smaller than average, so you may need backlighting on even in daylight to see the characters clearly.
I'm very happy with it considering the low price - a backlit mechnical gaming keyboard is out of my reach.

Great design, lights come from the letters in the keys, and not from between the keys, what is great for when using with low light. Read morePublished 3 days ago by Bruno Manuel dos Santos Rodrigues
