Format:Spiral-bound
I would'nt recommend this book unless you are looking for some good period movie make-up pictures to work from, as i can honestly say the step by step pictures and make-ups recreated in the book are terrible. Its very amiture and looks sloppy and unfinished. But if you want to have some good movie pictures like Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Bette Davis plus some good 30's, 40's. 50's, 60's 70's 80's and 90's examples to use for your own reference, its good to have.

Format:Spiral-bound
This book covers makeup from various eras. On the plus side the explanations and diagrams are very good. On the minus side some of the looks are terribly authentic or right. There are other books on period makeup but they're a lot more expensive. So, if you're looking for a reasonably priced entry level book, this is the one for you. If you're looking for something more accurate and advanced, you'll have to cough up more money.
