Format:Audio CD
I got this on LP when it first came out. There was a single, "Heartsong," which actually got some airplay. I fell in love with it straight away. The music is quite simply exquisite...and all the adjectives in the summary. "Heartsong" itself just rocks. You could be depressed with this album on...but only if you had your fingers in your ears. Giltrap is a great guitarist, and the other musicians on this album are similarly gifted. You won't regret buying this. I never have.

I lost my original vinyl version of this album many many years ago and with it my memories of what a superb sound Giltrap can make. With relief I found it once more thanks to Amazon and have listened to it pretty much every week since then. The sound and intricacy of Gordon's work's shines through on this recording as much as any past or current recordings. A master at work and set alongside "Visionary" it ranks as a perfect reminder of this genius' ability.

An excellent album. I bought this album on vinyl when it was first released and have been trying to find it in CD format for years. This album is a first class mixture of classical style acoustic guitar and electric rock guitar music with powerful orchestral backing. A must have for anyone who loves guitar music.
