Product Description

“Beautifully written, very readable. I was unable to put it down once I started, always wanting to find out what was going to happen next.”

“I adored this book…I have officially become a fan of romance novels, but only the good ones, with great storylines like this. This book absolutely stole my heart.” ~ Tiffany Harkleroad “Tiffany’s Bookshelf.”

“LA Dale uses a light and deft hand with the humour, some tongue in cheek and very funny moments. Above all else she makes us care about her characters.” ~ Suzanna Burke “Sooz Says Stuff.”

School teacher, Flora Owens thought she had the perfect life. Comfortable with being the least exciting, most organised and most predictable friend anyone could ever have, Flora was content until the morning she discovered her knickers had been stolen from the line again. She should have known it was an omen.
Now, the positive chi of her ordered world is in tatters. The Principal has broken his leg and been replaced by a man she thought she would never see again, a man she felt an instant and electric attraction to. The parents are complaining and her colleagues are behaving oddly. Added to that, she's so far in lust with her new boss she can’t even think and it's doing very odd things to her behaviour. Things she would rather not contemplate.
Stalkers, saucy love affairs and a mild case of OCD. What's a girl to do?

good but..... 8 May 2011
By Sian Louise VINE™ VOICE
Format:Kindle Edition
I found this on my Kindle recommedation page and I have to say I did really enjoy it.
BUT....I did not like the character of Luke.
Flora was very likeable and relatable and so were her friends P.J and Louise. However none of the male characters were very likeable.
Luke started off promising but ended up a bit of a jerk I felt, and if I was Flora I would have been a bit annoyed at the ending and how he came back etc. (Can't say too much without giving anything away).
However I did find the overall story interesting and enjoyable, I would read more from this author in the future.

Loads of fun!!!! 7 Feb 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I downloaded this from Kindle US a while back and I must say its one of the nicest books I've read in the genre. True, it doesn't stick exactly to the romance or chick lit formula but for me, the characters seem more real for it. Without spoiling the plot, its safe to say that Luke is a bit of a creep at the beginning but when you realise the reasons why he's avoiding Flora, it seems understandable. After all, real life isn't cut and dried is it?
What I really enjoyed about this book, was the growth in Flora as a character. She doesn't change for Luke but her relationship with him makes her see that life doesn't need to be so serious and she's not going to drop off the face of the Earth if she tries something new.
This is DEFINITELY worth a read. Especially if you like a bit of spice to liven up your chick lit.
