Product Description

Parchment craft is the art of cutting, perforating and embossing parchment paper to create delicate, lace-like designs for greetings cards and other stationery, table decorations, fans, boxes, lampshades, paperweights, gift-wrapping and much more. Pergamano[trademark] Parchment Craft includes full step-by-step instructions for an exciting range of projects that will appeal to all age ranges and capabilities. The 15 attractive projects use readily available materials and inexpensive tools and equipment and are photographed and described through all stages of making. Special gallery pages illustrate variations on the techniques explored in the projects and are described in detail. This wonderfully accessible book also has a comprehensive section on materials and techniques.

I have the basic skills in parchment craft and find the book has some excellent projects, some quite challenging but within anyones capabilities.
All of the projects have very good and explicit step by step photographs and instructions they are very individual and make wonderful gifts.

I like this book and the designs are great. My only disappointment is the patterns all have to be enlarged 200%. I have a very good home photo copier but the patterns are too faint to copy properly. I could take them to a photoshop and see if they can copy them for me. If they can I will then have to cut each design out and re photocopy each one at 200%. A lot of bother and it would cost me. Her other book has full sized patterns in it. Why not this one?? I will always look in future and any books that do not have full size patterns I will not buy.
