This really does cover new ground, in a brilliantly informal way. Personality profiling is interesting, but SO WHAT??!! Its how you BEHAVE that matters - what do DO that counts! And the idea that not all behaviour is good is fantastic - this is like a light dawning on the obvious. A must read for all managers charged with improving performance - for themselves and their people.

It almost sounds too simple, but ends up making good sense. It's the behaviours, stupid! What's interesting here are the explanations of bad behaviours and a new perspective on how and why things go wrong. Thought-provoking!

Being a bit of an addict when it comes to business books, I am incredibly grateful to the author of Performance for writing a book that was thoroughly readable, practically jargon-free, extremely entertaining (yes, that may sound unbelievable, but it's true), and insightful to an astounding degree. Rarely do I read a book twice, but I am delving back into this one right away, starting again on page one. And I am truly looking forward to it...
