In Perfect Time (Wings of the Nightingale Book #3): A Novel [Kindle Edition]
Bold, sophisticated, and coy, Army Air Force flight nurse Lt. Kay Jobson collects hearts wherever she flies, leaving men pining in airfields all across Europe. So how can ruggedly handsome C-47 pilot Lt. Roger Cooper be all but immune to her considerable charms? In fact, he seems to do everything he can to avoid her.
Still, as they cross the skies between Italy and southern France, evacuating the wounded and delivering paratroopers and supplies, every beat of their hearts draws them closer. Can they overcome the fears and misunderstandings of the past in order to take hold of the future?
Sarah Sundin seamlessly weaves together emotion, action, and sweet romance into a tale that transcends time and calls us to believe in the power of love.

Once again Sarah Sundin delivers a well written, well researched novel with characters that one can't help but love ! In this final book of the Nightingale series, we see Kay and Roger Cooper getting their act together along with the thread of all the main characters from the previous books running through it and drawing to a wonderful ending ! One doesn't need to be practising Christian to appreciate Sarah's books because the human emotions and sensitive issues that she deals with are ones that present themselves to many of us at some time in our lives ! Go for it , because if you love the WW2 era and a good love story, you'll enjoy this !
IN PERFECT TIME I love books set in the war era- and this one was a great read. Kay evacuates the wounded and deliverers the paratroopers and supplies needed over Europe Kay is very popular- but she wonders why the pilotm Roger seems immune to her charms. He is struggling with past demons. Eventually they overcome their initial reserve! They are in dangerous territories and the book is a real page turner. I haven’t read about Flight nurses before- and found that fascinating. The characters are wonderful and I can’t wait to read more by this author. With many thanks to Net Galley for the chance to read this book.
Brilliant ending to a light hearted, historical romance set in world war two. It has engaging characters and gave details about the lead characters to the previous stories. I loved this story as it depicted the realities of war along with inspirational romance between two compelling, funny and lovable characters in the army.
I loved everything about this book! The transformation of Kay, the growing love between her and Roger, the fantastic historical detail, all of it worked together to make this final book in the series another page-turner. Well done Sarah Sundin!
