There are easy to follow exercises presented in graduated series.The emphasis is on strengthening muscles to create a stable spine before tackling more specific postural problems. The general idea of strengthening the body from the inside out gives a stable core thus preventing the overload of muscles like the lower back. Most exercises can be done at home without spending money. Despite the obvious american style, overall the book is unpretentious and if you actually follow the exercises your posture will improve!

i just got the book and read through it and would have to say that this seems to be a great book on getting better posture. i have really bad posture and need to strengthen up my muscles to get good posture and this book looks like it will help me out.
