Irish answer to Sex and the City!,

This is an amazing book in many ways. As a huge fan of the dearly departed SATC, I found this book so brilliant! Reading about the 3 main characters of this book - Calypso, Rosa & Dannie - was hilarious!! Calypso's drive to be the fab casting agent she is is so rich with ambition & her final revenge on the not so charming Leo, Rosa's willingness to deal with whatever life and young Charlotta through at her is excellant and inspiring. And as for Connemara born Dannie who has a hard time with the men in her past particularly, the not so fab war reporter who smashes her heart and dreams, and the manner in which she finds happiness and love with Jethro - ah well, the luke warm heart of the irish single girl will begin to beat faster and believe that yes, somethings do turn out right for us single girls in this strange worl we live in!Thanks Ms Thompson!!!!
