3.0 out of 5 stars pay attention to the edition of the book 8 April 2011
By Ms Di
Format:Hardcover
My review is not about the quality of this book in the overall (which if very interesting). But if you already know its latest edition, you will find that buying the older ones does not have so much information. Also, although the book was stated as in good condition or like new...it was all marked with colours underlying the text...and that is just too confusing to read. Make sure you are buying something with nobody's comments on it!

4.0 out of 5 stars My Perception... 13 Mar 2012
By LisaLand - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I love books about physics and I love books about psychology. Although I've been met with a lot of negative judgement by comparing the two in my eyes they are in many aspects related. If you love books that have you thinking outside your normal capacity and seeing things from a completely different POV then this is a good book to get started with. It will certainly inform you of a lot of typical mindsets and open your mind to some new perspectives. As for me I've covered the teachings of this book long ago and no longer find it helpful. I bought it to reference the basics and have found it remarkable for that purpose. There are a lot of positions that aren't covered and a lot of ways to think that are completely left out so I feel it's only fair to give it four rather than five stars. However, if you are simply looking for a book to expand your mind and haven't had any previous knowledge this book would be perfect for you!

This is a tough book at the beginning but if you stick with it you'll learn a lot about human perception.
