Lets face it, everyone seems to love good old swing. Although it lost some of its popularity in the latter part of the last century over here, definitely by the end of the last century it was starting to revive, and has carried on doing so since then to a wider audience. As swing is a sub-genre of jazz it is rather apt that Jazz FM have their name on the cover.
With 46 tracks there is a bit of everything here, from old stuff to much newer, including Christina Aguilera's brilliant 'Candy Man'. The quality of the recordings are usually quite good, but please remember that some of the tracks on this are quite old, and on these inevitably you do get a bit of crackling.
Ideal for listening to the garden, on your MP3 player, at home or in the car this album is great to listen to, and is ideal for background at a barbecue, making it a great album for the summer. If you are like me then you know that swing can make you feel a bit happier and able to cope with everyday life.
