The T&G Tap mill set comprises of a peppermill and a salt mill made from crystal clear acrylic. The peppermill is fitted with a ceramic mechanism that is harder than steel and won't oxidise the pepper when grinding. The salt mill is fitted with a plastic mechanism. Both mechanisms carry a lifetime guarantee.
The mills are simply adjusted from fine to coarse grinding by tightening or loosening the knob at the top of the mill.
The set comes in an attractive acetate gift box with a colour insert making this an ideal present for anyone that enjoys cooking.

I am really happy about this Mill set. First of all they look really good. They really seem they are glass. They can hold enough salt and pepper, and they do the grinding well. I do not know how the salt mill will work with finer salt, as this comes with really nice chunky salt which looks really good from inside the mill. As for the pepper i was using it with very fine setting. One word of advice, do no tighten it too much as its mechanism will not let pepper out and you will end up with a lot of crushed fine pepper at the base of the mill. I really like these mills. I do recommend them. By the way they really make for a nice gift if you intend to give them to someone.

Still not entirely happy,

Had to send back the first set I received, as the pepper mill did not work at all. Replacement arrived very quickly. However, I am still not entirely happy with the function of the pepper mill. I had to adjust the setting to get it to grind at all. It now works fairly well, but is not nearly as good as the salt mill. A pity as it is a very nice-looking product at a good price compared to others I have researched.

T&G Tap Pepper and Salt Mill Gift Set, Acrylic, 115 mmI had been searching for a decent pepper mill for some time and did'nt want to ' pay the earth'. The mill I had was so annoying in that one could'nt get a fine setting. one finished up with huge amounts of chunky pepper. I found the perfect answer on Amazon.The salt & pepper set I purchased is just great,fully adjustable for fine our coarse settings and it keeps the setting.I am very pleased with this item and the design is itself a talking point. '
