Fisrtly I should say that this is a really nice trike once assmbled. It's unusualy good value in that it has foot rests for children who can't reach the pedals yet and a trailer for the rider to put things into as well as a handle for the parent to hold. It's also nice and colourful and has Peppa Pig stickers to decorate it with.
There is a real problem with the assembly though, I am reasonably 'handy' and usually can assemble stuff like this without too much trouble. This trike however I found very difficult. It feels like it's been designed for a machine in a factory to put together, not a lay-man at home. The parts are not very accurately made and so don't fit together easily, or in some cases without extreme force.
I found that only one of the three screws that holds the peppa pig plastic face-plate would screw in, so it's currently held on with one screw. Also because I pushed the parent handle in the wrong way (easy to do) the little pin that holds it in got pushed in to the tube so I had to buy a nut and bolt to attach the handle. The whole thing took much, much longer than I expected and also required a trip to the DIY store before my excited daughter could play with it. Tip: don't show it to your child before you have assembled it.
Overall now it's assembled it's very good and my daughter loves it but it would be so much better (and safer) if it came ready assembled.

I wanted a trike for my 2 year old which had both footrest and pedals and a parent-guide stick - this seemed all round reasonable price and had been relatively well reviewed here. The only thing really is that the parent-guide stick is very wobbly and requires the arm of Hercules to steer it any distance. The vehicle is noisy on the pavement and there is no belt to strap the child in. Having said that, it is easy (ish) to assemble and my daughter seems chuffed with it. Would recommend for the price.

Having received the product today, myself and my husband thought we would struggle to assemble the bike from reading the other reviews about it. We would like to inform others that we assembled it in about 15 mins and without any arguements between us where normally we would be getting divorced by the end of building something!! It was easier to follow the picture instructions than the written ones but in all was very easy to put together and cant wait for our grandson to see it.

Pay a bit more and think of safety
Cheap and flimsy, difficult to assemble. Parent handle too low for a tall bloke and cannot control the steering of the trike unless you tip it backwards to raise the front wheel. Read more

my great grandson had great pleasure from this trike and it was well worth the money

GOOD!
