A fantastic book. As well as access to all the big stars as well as Pep on a really personal level, Perarnau has managed to record Pep's football philosophy, which he is constantly changing. How each game is tactically deconstructed on a micro level to suit his players and how the opposition strengths are neutralized. Watching football will never be the same again. Thankfully the technical stuff is nicely blended with lots of good stories such as his his meetings with chess master Gary Kasparov. Pep's most surprising quote from the book "Gentlemen, This is Tiquitaca and it is Shit." A book full of wonderful surprises.

Absolutely fantastic book! A fascinating and detailed insight into the inner workings and organisation of one of the worlds top sports teams/organisations; and also the inner workings of the non-stop mind of one of the greatest coaches in current sport.

If you've read Pep: Another Way of Winning, you'll know what i mean about Guardiola's mind, and his 24/7 analysis. It makes you wonder how the guy manages to sleep! This book further shows his constant pursuit of leaving as little to 'chance' as possible.

If you love football, and particularly if you love coaching, then you MUST buy this book!

I'm about a third of the way through reading this. So far its shaping up to be my favourite book on football. I am loving the technical side of it, Guardiola's philosophy on how the game should be played & an explanation of his thought processes when developing a style of play for Bayern. Not that its a technical coaching manual. It goes into what happens behind the scenes, how he interacts with players, how he adjusts to German culture, etc. Recommended.

There aren't enough positive words I can use to describe this book. A hugely in-depth view focusing on Guardiola's first season at Bayern, by in-depth I mean incredibly detailed, which may put off some readers who aren't interested in an almost game-by-game insight into Guardiolas tactics and man-management, if however you're fascinated as to how this man dominates wherever he goes or are a football junkie, then this book is for you.
