The guys at Benrik have done a great job in collecting all of the published works that appeared in The Independent on Sunday for the duration of their column, and have placed them in a handy-sized easy to read compendium for all to learn from. Each page has a new way to earn money - through perfectly socially acceptable methods, such as a mixture of salt and pepper in a shaker, and the 'Home Prisons Service' - you get the idea.I would highly recommend his book, if not for a guaranteed (sort of) method to improving your financial status in this credit crisis, then to simply look at the pictures and laugh. A lot of thought has been put into this book, and I've already begun planning my days with some of these ideas in mind... From the creators of the 'This diary will change your life' series.

These guys are on fire! A beautifully designed, brilliant, clever, bonkers, witty, deranged, morbid, hilarious, laugh out loud on your own, silly, book from the Benrik duo, whom we've learned to love over the years for their unique anarchically normal tone of voice.At a time of such doom and gloom this book will fill you with inspiration. All it takes is one great idea and you never know you could make millions! But don't forget you will have to give Benrik 10 percent! There's an idea in there for everyone, ranging from the simple genius ones to obscure wonderfully thought out ones to pure bonkers ones -which i often like best! There's a page in the back to write your own thoughts which I like as this book really gets you thinking...

I thought this would be a self help book or some sort of corporate inspirational book. I wasn't expecting one book to make me rich, and took the title with a pinch of salt. However, this book was a bit daft and contained anecdotes of the weird and wonderful. In other words, its a daft Christmas stocking sort of book. Its the kind of book you'd dip in and out of if you couldn't sleep. If that's what you want, then buy it, but if you wanted any sort of financial hints and tips in this credit bitten era- buy something else.
