Book Description

17 Dec 2013
The day Iris Beaumont turns seventeen, she is threatened to be taken by the Beasts, the rulers of the new America. After the destruction of the world, the Beasts provide citizens with whatever they need in exchange for the one teenage girl they enslave every week. They call them the Brides, and they never comes back. Iris isn’t the worrying type though; she’s been defying the system since she was ten and never cared for the Beast’s rules. Then she meets Colton Ray, who is not like any other boy she’s ever seen. His confidence and dominance are otherworldly she can’t rationalize the attraction she feels for him. Colton had one slight problem though. It’s rumored he is one of the Beast, and Iris could be the next on the Beast’s list.

More About the Author

I am honored to have three of my books on Amazon's Top 100 Customer Favorites in Kindle 2013. I don't even know how this happened, but it means you guys are awesome (for the lack of a better world.)

So, my name is Cameron - obviously. I write books I wish someone would have written, basically to amuse himself. Everything I do is for fun. I'm not a writer; I am a storyteller. And I didn't feel like writing was the only thing I was meant to do since I was a kid. I just had an idea, and jotted it down. It was full of mistakes and it was underdeveloped. But then I discovered there were so many incredibly loving and helpful readers out there who liked it. I learned so much since then and always work on improving my craft. I can't stop writing since the. It's addictive.

Other than that I'm the normal guy next door. I'm writing this wearing my pajamas, flip flops, and boxers. My life is complete. All I need is a Cuban cigar.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing read 4 Jan 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am a great fan of Cameron Jace's books and I am always worried that one day the great writing will become just well normal but I am happy to say that this is not the case with this book. From the moment I picked it up I could not put it down. The story is amazing, the images that you come up with in your imagination is great. The story flowed really well and the characters are not only believable but likable as well. It's left with a bit of a cliff hanger and you just want to know more. I hope Cameron Jace will write another part to this book as I for one need to know what happens.

This book was fantastic. I loved the Grimm diaries but this was something else. Nothing like them but just as brilliant to read. Whichever of Cameron's books you read you'll be hooked. I can't wait to see what happens next xx

4.0 out of 5 stars A great book 23 Dec 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you like the hunger games you will love this book. The book has lots of plot twists and an unexpected ending that will keep you hooked to read the next book in the series. furthermore I love that Iris is a strong female character that doesn't shy away from her beliefs which I found refreshing after so many book portraying the female characters as whiney and unable to think for themselves. Well dome Cameron jace :)

4.0 out of 5 stars A different tell on a well loved tale 20 Dec 2013
I love beauty and the beast and all the different takes of the story, however this book goes one set sideways, it makes you think about what beauty is, and what we may see a beast to be.

This book keeps giving you things to think about and wonder... Why? with a great ending for you to go....ooooooooooh... I get it now!
