Some of the problems I've had before buying this remote controller :-
1) camera moves on tripod when pressing shutter release.
2) tripod falls over (honestly, once!) when pressing shutter release.
3) camera shakes when taking long exposure time shots.
4) many pictures of my bum as I try to beat the 3-second shutter release delay while getting myself in the picture.

All cured with this tiny gadget. An excellent accessory and so simple to use - there's only one button! And with a battery life of 30,000 operations (so the bumph says) it'll probably last longer than I will!
Only problem is it's size (52 x 22 x 6 mm).
Far too easy to lose. :-)

Amazon Verified Purchase
The previous reviewer says it all. As I've been used to working with a cable release on a SLR when taking long or vibration free exposures this diddy remote makes up for the lack of a release coupling on my Pentax K-m DSLR.
Took me a while to work out what settings had to be applied on the camera to get the expected results but now it's a dream. Works from behind as well as in front of the camera. Only thing missing is some useful guidance in the camera manual which could have been backed up in the remote's box; it too is very small!
