Powered by two CR-V3 or four AA-sized batteries, this battery grip mounts on the bottom of the Pentax K200D without removing the batteries stored in the camera, considerably extending the camera's operation time.It also comes equipped with a vertical position shutter release button, a preview lever, Av/Tv dials and an AE lock button.


Product Description

The D-BG3 is a dedicated battery grip for use with the Pentax K200D digital SLR camera. Holds an extra 4x AA batteries to double the shooting time with the K200D. This grip also has an additional shutter release button for easier vertical shooting plus other controls. Tripod socket on the base.------Developed for exclusive use with the Pentax K200D digital SLR camera this battery grip can be used to capture a large number of images without battery changes. With an extra shutter-release button preview lever and AE-lock button the Pentax D-BG3 battery grip makes vertical-position shooting more simple.------------The BG3 grip will hold an additional four AA batteries to double your shooting time with the K200D up to an impressive 2200 shots with Lithium AA batteries.------

As always, Amazon delivery impeccable. Battery grip works very well, making for a much better balanced camera especially in portrait orientation. AND, it's much better value than the same item for Nikon and Canon cameras!

The battery grip for the Pentax K200D will help you holding the camera and generally enhance your photography.
It allows you to take portrait pictures so much easier and it is very well built.
I holds another 4 AA batteries and is fully sealed against weather.
I strongly recommend it !!
