I have 2 sets of these (bought for our then 4wk old and 18 month old). Tried them on again this summer - they are now 3 and 4.5yrs and they were too small. However! My husband worked out that its the black poles at the SIDE of the ears that do in fact extend - and not the top bands. Honestly, now even I can fit my head in them!! So, after all, they are adjustable and I'm off to buy an another pink set for our 3rd child, rather than the adult version I thought I needed for our big-headed older child! (She wears age 7-10 hats). I hope I have helped you, as this has taken us 2 years to work this out too!! Grr!

We bought these for our son who likes airshows. They are very effective at cutting out noise. They are quite tight-fitting but the cushioned edges make them easily wearable for long periods. They fit my 2 year old well and would probably fit 1-6 year olds easily. A tip... I played a game with my son for a few days before he needed to use them for the first time. I would make an aeroplane sign and sound too, then pop the earphones on so he could hear the effect. I purposely was very loud with the sound when the ear defenders were off! He tried countless times to put them on himself when we were at the airshow, so it was a success!

We bought this pair for our 4 month old son. You can adjust the set wide enough so it doesn't sqash the baby's head and it lightly sits on his head but still protects his ears. Apart from looking really cute in it, it is a great and good quality product. I think you can adjust it as the baby grows so will last his whole childhood. Highly recommend.
