This book outlines a system (presumably studied via correspondence course from 1919-29) for training mind, memory and personality. There were Pelman Institutes in both the US and UK, with the London office issuing a supplement "for war-time members of His Majesty's Forces". There are at least 14 "lessons" in the series, covering topics such as "The will to conquer", "Concentration and Mental Control the remedy for mind-wandering", "The Science & Art of Self-Realization, "Your subconscious life", "Self-expression and Personality", "Judgment in business & Affairs", "The Money Brain: an inquiry into its qualities", "The World of People & Things & How to Know Them", "Use and Abuse of Reading: how to organize your mental life".
