There are people who enjoy reading scripts, and those who don't, and I fall firmly into the former category, often finding things in a script that I wouldn't find in the finished product - reading the script for "Pulp Fiction" helped me understand the film, for example.
Unlike the superb "Father Ted" scripts book this collection provides printed versions of the finished shooting scripts, and so you won't find excised scenes or be able to spot jokes which were improvised when the cameras began to roll, but as the show is so good anyway you won't be too bothered. Here you will find the scripts for every series to date, plus some extra bits and pieces such as pictures and letters from the characters, along with a lengthy section towards the end in which the writers of the show provide their emailed notes to each other about how a particular script was progressing, and this is interesting if you're interested in the creative process, if not vital.
All in all, if you love the show and like reading scripts this is a great purchase. If you're neither of these, avoid.
