For the price it does what it is supposed to do. It looks great on my bike and enables me to put items in the basket the items that won't fit in my backpack.
Only issues are;
1. doesn't contain assembly instructions, so for someone with no DIY knowledge, the components can be difficult to ascertain, but I contacted the seller and was given brief instructions.
2. Attempted to put in the basket my small, slimline laptop, a heavy text book (1000+ pages), and my metal D lock and the basket fell right off into the street. Cannot carry a great amount, but enough to hold my laptop and the 1 bag of shopping I did today.
3. The quick release element makes it easy for the basket to be stolen. All it takes is the press of one red button.
4. The bracket is loose on my bike frame and cannot be tightened any further, therefore the basket sits low almost touching the front wheel. This has no affect on cycling ability however.

REVISITED REVIEW
1 week of use and the mechanism holding the basket to the bracket has fallen apart. All the nuts and bolts have come loose and I have been forced to remove the basket. Thoroughly disappointed.

Its hard to be sure how well a basket will fit your particular bike so I took a gamble on this one. For £15 delivered I think its quite reasonable.
Unfortunately it would not fit as intended as it is designed to fit ` T ' style handlebar rising vertically from the headstock thus allowing the support arm to rest against the headstock. However providing the handlebar diameter is correct ( 22-25 mm )it can be clamped quite securely and in my case the support arm can give a little extra stability if cable tied to the handlebar. The quick release idea is great but isn't secure enough and will jump off over bumps, again cable ties to the rescue, not quick release anymore !!.
The baskets quite sturdy, plastic coated so shouldn't rust to soon it does have some sharp areas of mesh along the bottom but generally ok. Instructions are very poor, in fact totally useless. The 7KG weight limit is very optimistic even if it fits perfectly I,d say 2-3 KG.
I,ve probably put you off by now but providing its clamped securely with additional wire/cable ties and not too heavy a load it will be fine for most people.

I bought this for my bicycle.

Fitting was not difficult:
The two brackets on the handle bar were easy to fit though not sure how strong these brackets are.
You might have to be careful of not trapping the brake and gear cables from the handlebars when fitting.
The third fitting is to stop the basket from twisting down when you put weight in the basket.
The success of fitting this part is dependent on the handlebar design on the handle bar stem.
Best to use the cable tie on the stem to reduce any movement
When you load the basket, the weight tries to push the basket down and it does move down even when there is a light load.
It states that it can carry 7 Kgs but I don't think I would recommend putting this weight in the basket.
I liked the idea of the detachable basket as I only attach when going shopping to the supermarket as I have a Basil Cento Rear Basket on the rear panier.
However I am not sure how secure this quick release basket is; i.e. it is just a red button with spring plastic clip holding it onto the bracket. I worry that if I go over a bump the basket might get thrown off the bracket.
It would be so much nicer if the bracket for the handle bars and on the basket was metal as opposed to plastic for a more secure fit.

1. You will need washers to help stop the basket holder coming apart when it has a load.
2. Your need one of these for mounting a light, as it blocks lights mounted on handlebars.

3. Make sure the screws are tight and check them everytime you use it.
4. I had to replace the screws holding it to the handlebars with longer ones.
The handlebar clamps are a bit too small for my mountain bike, but with bigger screws it attached on good.

The four big screws that hold the part that is attached to the baskets rear and slots onto the holder on the bike.
Put a washer on each, to stop the bolt head getting pulled through the soft plastic thew you have some weight in it..

This doesn't exactly what you expect of it.
Not too big, not too small and it has indeed a quick release mechanism.
Recommend it!

I've used this product regularly for 3 months and since I bought it based reviews by others, I felt I should share my experience, too.

On the positive side:
1) It was easy to assemble.
2) It is very light and easy to carry around.
3) The detachable feature makes it very convenient to remove use as a basket in the stores.
4) It is priced well; real value for money.

On the negative side:
1) It came without manual, which makes its attachment a bit tricky initially. One has to figure it out by themselves.
2) Some of the bolts fall off very often no matter how hard they are tightened.

Overall, a very useful product and a great value for money.
