5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album! 20 Oct 2011
Format:Audio CD
Most of the album really fits my taste in Power Pop/Alternative Rock, or what you may call it. The vocals, and especially the harmony between the singers, are amazing, and the lyrics of most songs are very poignant and well-crafted. And of course, I like the music. Highlights for me: Gravity, Pleaser, Bloomer, Chautauqua County.

5.0 out of 5 stars Come On! 18 April 2011

2 Stars? No catchy tunes?? That's all this disc has!

New to the band, but this is a terrific disc. Guy/girl with a bit of a The Spinanes sound to them from yesteryear, but generally rocks harder. One other review so far, so this disc likley not getting much play out there, but definitely worth a spin and then some. Give it a shot. If sampling, check out "Pleaser", "Irregular" and "Chautauqua County".
5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely 16 Sep 2013

Lemuria just wins my heart every time. I love the sweet and gentle voices against the edgy music. I would recommend this album to anyone that likes pop punk.
4.0 out of 5 stars Darker than everything before it but awesome! 12 April 2013
By Lily - Published on
Format:Audio CD
When I'd first listened to this album around the time it had come out, I wasn't too fond of it. It wasn't as chirpy as their earlier material if that makes any sense and the sound was noticeably darker (the bridge of "Pleaser" should be proof of this). However, slowly but surely, it grew on me and now I thoroughly enjoy it. It's definitely more of an alternative rock album and isn't quite as pop-punky as their earlier material but as soon as you get used to the changes it's pretty great. "Irregular" is probably one of their best tunes, and "Chautauqua County" has the fun poppy sound that got me into the band in the first place, so it's certainly worth listening to!

2.0 out of 5 stars Their worst album so far. 11 Mar 2011
By Nippler - Published on
Format:Audio CD
I've always been a fan of Lemuria because I love Sheena's vocals, complemented by Alex Kearns. In this album, Alex sings lead on most of the songs. I believe Different Girls is supposed to be the biggest hit on the album, but it strikes me as shallow. I wouldn't consider any song as this album catchy. Or fun to listen to.
