Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

The Wooden Ride-on Pink Lightning bike helps train the coordination and balance of children through play. Once they've mastered the ride-on-bike, children are ready to move on to their first bicycle. It gives them the first steps towards coordination and balance. The bike has been 85% preassembled and requires very little further assembly. The seat is in the lowest position for the beginner but the height of the seat can be raised for when the child grows. The bike is constructed for children aged 3-6 years and your child should have many hours of fun with the bike.

I have two girls, age 6 and 4, neither could ride a bike and a friend suggested a balance bike.
2 weeks later and my 6 yo can ride, 4 yo nearly there thanks to this great little bike.
It's nicely made, parts fit together well and the saddle is adjustable. I wouldn't say it's for age 3-6 though as it is too small for my 6 yo. More like 2-5.
It's lightweight, goes in the boot of the car no problem and I wish I'd bought one 2 years ago! Only downside is there's no front brake, which some of the aluminium models have.

My niece is 3. I was very impressed, i put it together myself very simply. Inflatable tyres are great but the valve is tucked under the struts of the wheel so you have to use one of those bendy tubes that fit on a pump to actually inflate as the space is a little tight. it was her first on her own bike and she took to it very well, its reasonably light so not too hard to manouver and the steering set up is clever. Its taken a little practice with balance and getting on and off but its lovely. I was concerned it wouldnt be of good quality, but it is exceptional value and a good finish for the price, and i think baby brother will get plenty use out of it too.

Bought this for our daughter who is 23 months. It was assembled easily but found to be way too big for her. Her feet could not even touch the ground! It does say for 3 - 6 years old on the box, although it specifies from 18 months on the amazon web site. Luckily we have a 4 year old girl who can use this until our younger girl can grow tall enough to use it.
