I have already used this awning twice. Once at Glastonbury festival and once for a weekend camping. I usually sleep in my van at festivals but now i have this, its a massive improvement. I have gained some seriously extra space. I only went for the 2 x 2m size which is ample but it really seems bigger. (I must measure it next time)
The awning arrived well before the delivery date - "Thank You" I put the awning together in the dark at 2am at Glastonbury and managed to get it sorted without making any mistakes (I am good with tents though)
As there are only 2 guy ropes attached to the van, it makes it very easy to dis-connect and drive away, leaving the awning standing.
I have yet to try this in a gale wind but i recon it should easily stand to the test.
I personally recommend putting the awning up first and then moving your van/vehicle into place. You will then gain the maximum space. I am quite tall but this does give your tonnes of height space.
I have recommended this to a few friends.

ps, Peak outdoors very kindly gave me a free hat. At first i thought."I hate baseball hats!" I was totally wrong. This hat came with a tiny LED light embedded inside it. At night time this light is incredibly bright and makes tasks (like putting up an awning at 2am) very easy.
