This is a great album from EJ. "A return to form" is how many critics have described it. I feel that it is one of Elton's better albums, maybe not a return to form but now it's even better value. This repackaged edition of "Peachtree Road" comes with a bonus live dvd recorded at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. The focus of this dvd is the "new album" released just prior to this concert and we are treated to all bar three of the tracks from "Peachtree Road". All of these tracks are performed with the professionalism and expertise we have come to expect from Elton and his band. Nothing short of outstanding. As an extra added bonus the album comes with some bonus tracks from the "Billy Elliot" musical. Elton has contributed the music to this smash hit West End show and now three of the songs are available on this cd. Another reason to buy this superb package. Great value all round.

One of Elton's underestimated/ unsung recordings. This album offers a return to the glory days and is an ideal follow up to the excellent: Songs from the West Coast. The record has somewhat suffered in comparison to its predecessor, however, Elton's music, Bernie's lyrics capture their love of Americana and the Sothern ambience creates and recaptures the days of Tumbleweed and Madman,

The production is impressive and singing powerful and heartfelt with some poignant. reflective and evocative songs .

I've been looking for this vinyl for ages but, thanks to Amazon, I finally found it. Although I've already got Peachtree Road on CD, I decided to get a vinyl record mainly due to its better sound quality! But lets talk a little about Elton's songs on this album. I really liked the idea of using a choir on many of the tracks! Moreover, after so many years Bernie's lyrics are still brilliant and Elton does his job at his very best! There are a lot of slow songs, but that only makes the album sound soothing and calming!!! Overall, I recommend it on vinyl to every Elton's fan!!! Don't miss your chance - buy IT!!!!!

For some reason I missed this one from EJ when it was first released. What a gem! I have been playing it in my car everyday for a week. It is really a classic.

For me, one of the best albums of Elton in recent years.
If we add the bonus tracks and the DVD concert, we have a perfect record.
