5.0 out of 5 stars New Love Old Problems, Part 6, 17 April 2006
By Karusichan "Karusichan" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Peach Girl: Change of Heart (Paperback)

Momo has walked in on a strange scene. Misao is asleep on the break room's couch, and Kiley is kissing her on her face. This is all the proof she needs to know that she can never replace Misao in Kiley's heart so she heads home to find Sae there, and horror of horrors, finds herself confessing her misery to her former enemy. Momo actually derives some comfort from Sae, especially when she tells Kiley that he should make his feelings knows to Misao...give her the chance to weigh in on his attraction.

Well, once Misao turns him down he discovers his heart is heavy with grief and that he can't quite face Momo at work. So, without further adieu, Kiley embarks on a walking quest to sort out his feelings. Meanwhile, Sae has suggested to Toji that the convenience store Momo works at has an opening, and she finds working beside her former lover to be...challenging, especially when he starts making advances on her.

Well, one would hope now that Kiley has confessed his love to Misao and has been shot down that he will move on and be able to be with Momo... but now with Toji in the picture again that looks next to impossible. But this ambivalence makes Kiley all the more likeable... if he just accepted things without second guessing he would be a dullard. Toji I can't quite wrap my brain out, it's been a year since the break up and he wants back with Momo like nothing happened, like he didn't' break up badly with her because of Sae... it's all too much to process, but it's still very good. Quite a worthwhile read.
