Product Description
"Collins Soundbites" is a series of readers for Key Stage 3 students with poor literacy skills. It contains three levels of graded, progressive readers, on cross-curricular topics that are particularly suitable for boys. The series supports progress units for year 7. Two thirds of each book is narrative-style text, while the remainder covers information, using a variety of text types such as autobiographies, biographies, journals, diaries, letters (personal and formal), travel writing, leaflets, reports, reviews, adverts, newspaper and magazine articles, and tables. Specialized, difficult or technical vocabulary is explained on the page and there is a one-page glossary at the end.
