Away-from-it-all,

This is an excellent book for all those who enjoy leisiure walking and swimming in secluded coves. This is a very small island, however thanks to this book one could spend weeks enjoying the tranquility of this island. All walks are very easy to do and the routes take you to the hidden charms of this island.

I booked a holiday in Paxos, and could not find much information about the island when looking through the Internet. I came across this book for sale on a link to Amazon and purchased it. There is a wonderful amount of detail about the island, and I could almost picture myself on the walks and could see the views in my mind. Now, armed with this information I am ready to enjoy the island itself.
The book contains detailed long and short walks, as well as information generally about the island. The pictures are well chosen, and I really feel it was a worthwhile purchase.

I used this marvellous little book solely as a walking guide, and it greatly enhanced my enjoyment of this beautiful island. The writer's enthusiasm for Paxos shines through the economical text as he takes readers to places they surely would not otherwise see. Although I yearned for OS quality maps, the directions are unusually accurate for a brief pocket guide of this type. Far be it from me to criticise the writer's doubtless sensible advice on 'what to wear', but as I strode out in the baking summer sun, I was glad that I ignored his suggestion that walkers should take cardigans and zip fronted anoraks with them on their adventures!
