I bought this laptop from a rival store after Amazon let me down badly on a Sony Vaio Laptop I was set on. The 2113 is a cracking piece of kit and for the money, it is very good indeed. Rather than give chapter and verse, I'll give it pros and cons from my perspective on the few weeks I've owned it.

Good:

Fast processor, quick boot up (with a clear Hard Drive!)
Good Screen, nice and clear
Graphics card handles Medal of Honour quite happily (with a wireless mouse)
Plenty of RAM
Good quality chassis, keyboard tactile
Remote control held within casing
Good integral webcam/mic
Very fast WiFi
Reasonable speakers (Altec Lansing)
HD Capability and HDMI
Lots of peripheral access points

Bad:

Battery life (I've not got the 4 hours as claimed yet despite turning all settings down)
Fan constantly on (Is this an AMD thing?)

I have to be honest, other than those niggles, I'm very happy with my purchase and for £530, I'd happily recommend it.

I don't know why this laptop only got 3 and 4 stars. I did have one problem with it when it came through - there was an error on the Hard Drive - but amazon quickly took it away and gave me a new one and I love it!

PROS
-It looks pretty cool. I had a Dell Inspiron before this (which broke within 5 months) and I had to pay extra for a cool laptop design.
-For a little over £500 you get excellent RAM (4GB) and HD (500GB)
-You get a cool little button that means you can switch off the touchpad (which is great when you're typing - on my old laptop I used to accidentally touch it when I was typing and my words would suddenly start propping up in the middle of other sentences!)
-Likewise, I love the slidey bar above the keypad for volume and the buttons either side for WiFi and Mute. That was one of the only great points of my other laptop, and I'm so glad HP encorporated it into the design of this one.
-The screen is very bright.
-The webcam is pretty sharp for an integrated device.
-It doesn't overheat randomly unlike other laptops I've been on.
-It had Windows 7 (yes I know every new computer does, but it doesn't mean that it's not a PRO!!)
-60 days free security.
-You get a pretty cool remote control for the laptop, as well as a thing to clean it with.
-It's great with games!!

CONS
-The keyboard is black so if your room has limited light, it may be hard to see what you are typing.
-Not a con per se, but people keep saying that the fan is really loud on HP Pavillions. I don't agree. The fan comes on maybe once every 45-60 minutes and stays on no more than 5, and yes, it is loud, but it's better for your laptop to be loud 5 minutes an hour and not overheat than be silent the whole time with "the whole time" lasting only 2 hours due to the laptop overheating!
-This might only have been me, but the power on button must be held down a specific amount of time for the laptop to turn on: If you only tap it, nothing happens. If you hold it down for too long, it turns on then shuts down again almost instantly (Just for reference, it works best if you hold it down until the volume lights above the keyboard come on, then let go instantly)

CONCLUSION
I love this laptop, and the 3 miniscule negative points about this laptop, I feel do in no way whatsoever even level out with (let alone outweigh) the positive points.

(One word of advice - If anything goes wrong with ANY HP computer, call up customer services by all means, but do not expect them to arrive to fix/take away/bring a new laptop on the day they say they will!!!)

within 10 month hinges have broken and two keyboard buttons have unsupprisenly came off and the cd drive has came out and is now unattatchable and i can fully life the screen away from the acutal computer with only a few wires connecting it but it still works other than this.

After contacting 'HP' i'm still awaiting a reply from my email about the damages and the repairs needed for the laptop and it doesn't look good and i don't know what to do next. i must add hp have since repaired everything free of charge i am now in the process of buying a cooling board
