Deliberated for ages before buying - very pleased. Key points:
Screen is superb. Keyboard superb. Quality and finish first rate.
Mine came with an average wireless mouse and thin and weedy slipcase and I don't use either. It's a little bit heavy. Performance absolutely fine for Office stuff, internet, Word, Excel, etc. Not tried games. Lots of connectors, USB, etc. All in all very pleased.

Ok, so a bit late of a late review and quite rather pointless since well the HP Pavilion dv2799ea entertainment special edition laptop is no longer available. However I just needed my input.

So my laptop is probably around one years old sometime this or next month. I feel in love with it the moment I pruchased it. Hardware wise it does and is per exactly what's written on the box. Which is to be expected tbh so theres not really much point going into that. Though I should point out, it did shock me somewhat in how well it handles and performs when faced with 'hungry' games.

But what does it for me about this laptop for me though, is that it's special! Because it's a special edition and wasn't ever mass produced on a large scale. The styling of the laptop has got some quirky patterns all over it brushed in a dark copper colour - looks amazing.
