Those who like naval warfare sims this is a good compromise between true strategy and shoot-um-up only games. Graphics are particularly good. Well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little game. 27 May 2014

Fed up with getting games and you have to buy in app purchases to progress..none of that with this game, just a really well thought out naval tussle with very good graphics and that " just one more try " gameplay..Hope the developers take heed and carry on the great work.Only downside is the game seems to be a bit heavy on the battery .

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this game 5 May 2014
This is a good game, the only down side is you can complete it in quite a short time. As you get into it becomes more interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent game 1 May 2014

This is a superb naval warfare game. The absence of in-app purchasing, which spoils so many Kindle games (they are not only exploitative but profoundly unhistorical - the Japanese navy couldn't just get out a credit card and build 20 new carriers), is to be applauded. It's a pity fleets are limited to three ships, and the submarine warfare could be improved, but otherwise it is superb. The graphics are excellent. If you ever played Dr Peter Turcan's 'Dreadnoughts' 20 yeas ago, this as good (other than the limited fleet size), and looks a lot better.

As other reviewers have said, let's see some other theatres/periods. The Royal Navy vs the Kriegsmarine in both world wars would seem an obvious choice, as would the Russo-Japanese War.

5.0 out of 5 stars superb! 26 April 2014

I've never played anything as good as this: very realistic, turn-based naval-warfare. I would love bigger fleets, more ships and other theatres of action: Mediterranean, Atlantic , Bismarck, Hood, uboats etc.
