Product Description

Product Description

Taking in his many love affairs, from Linda to Heather Mills, his passion for animals and his fights for their welfare, his many charitable contributions and care for those less fortunate in society, this is an encyclopedia of all things McCartney. It covers his opinions about drugs and his various drug busts, his family history from birth, plus his songs, records, friends, concerts, schools, homes and the honours bestowed on him, together with a discography, bibliography and chronology. It tries to answer questions like why he decided to dissolve the Beatles, what life was like behind bars in Japan, the truth about his relationship with Yoko Ono, as well as examining why his former council house has become a shrine and how the relationships with John and George developed.

This review is from: The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia (Paperback)
Bill Harry merits plaudits for this invaluable and comprehensive profile of Paul McCartney. It virtually covers every facet of Paul McCartney's life. All of his songs and albums are delved into. There are numerous biographies of his family members, the Beatles and the members of Wings. There is an extensive piece on all the chraitable causes that Paul, Linda and even Heather Mills have been involved in. The reader will learn that McCartney is much more than an animal rights activist and a vegetarian. You can even learn about the subject matter of numerous Paul McCartney songs. This incredibly elaborate and informative book that Bill Harry tirelessly researched and wrote is the consummate Paul McCartney biography. A must purchase for Paul McCartney fans. You will get to know many positive details about Paul the person and Paul the rock star.

5.0 out of 5 stars Covers All Of McCartney's Music, Charities And Everything Paul, 7 April 2006
By Brien Comerford - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia (Paperback)
Bill Harry thoroughly details all of McCartney's songs, records, tours, friends, pets, studios, producers and charities. It includes wonderful biographies of Linda and Heather Mills McCartney. You can learn about his many animal rights endeavors, his vegetarianism and numerous other charitable causes that he promotes. Every other Paul McCartney book is utterly incomplete. Bill Harry's comprehensive research is laudable, commendable and a must buy for any Paul McCartney fan.

I am relly pleased at how effecient Amazon is on mailing the product. As I live in Brazil it took a while to get to my house. However, that didn't stop Amazon from bringing my book in complete, no scratches, dents or defects condition. With this outcome Amazon can be sure to receive more purchases from me and I will spread the word on to people I know. Thank you for bringing my book.
