This is a fantastic classic memory game - with the turtle shell twist. Designed to give the young player a first experience playing competitive games. Each game in the series offers fun, imaginative game play for pre-schoolers to share together or with their families. There are simple rules, no reading skills required, and variations of play in each box. Firstly arrange the 27 Turtle picture cards face down on the table. There are three different colour turtles, a blue one, a green one and a red one. The shells can be swapped round so to start the game put whichever shell you like on whichever turtle.
Then you start turning over cards, if your card matches one of the turtles you keep it and then swap either two or all three of the shells round. If your card doesn't match you turn it over and try to remember what it was!
The game also includes two coloured Dice and these can be used to make the game a little harder for older children. To play with the dice you need to match the colours on each dice with the combination of turtle and shell on the card. The player who claims the most matching cards wins the game. The superb quality of the materials matches the high standard of game play. This game is for 2 - 6 players and suitable for ages 3 and up.

Place the 3 turtle shells on the turtle - it dosen't matter which turtle gets which colour. It's fun to mix them up! Arrange the 27 picture cards face down on the table. Roll the coloured dice. If the colours rolled match the 2 colours of a turtle and its shell, you get to choose a card. With any luck the card will match one of the 3 turtles. If not, place the card face down again. It's the next player's turn. As cards are revealed, players are challenged to remember them. The player who claims the most matching cards wins the game.
