The rubber lips measure 9cm across and 8cm tall complete with 5cm 'handle' for your dog to hold the lips by.

This toy is unneccessarily heavy and the corners of the lips taper to a point which allows dogs to chew them off very quickly. Within an hour of giving this to a dog, I noticed that, despite him only being small, he had chewed a corner of the rubber off. The instructions say that when this happens its time to throw the toy away and "Buy a new one!". How about actually designing the thing better in the first place? - would be my question.

What a hoot on Christmas day. There's no educational value here, but if your dog is outgoing and sociable, and crucially, doesn't mind being laughed at, then this is a great toy with high amusement value. Really strong, it bounces when thrown, and has held up to some quite heavy chewing so far.
One comment: with a post at the back instead of a ring, it's hard for my dog to hold at the front, and so the smile tends to be out of the side - nevertheless, still great fun.

Ok for big dogs but too large for small terrier
We have a Patterdale terrier and it didn't fit in her mouth so as such, it was an unsuccessful toy. It would have worked for larger dogs - labrador etc. Read more

really like the toy but as i only have small dogs (border terrier and jack Russel) they found it a bit heavy so the smile affect didn't really work :(
