Product Description

Paul Krugman is an Op-Ed columnist for The New York Times. Mr. Krugman is the author or editor of 20 books and more than 200 papers in professional journals and edited volumes. His professional reputation rests largely on work in international trade and finance; he is one of the founders of the "new trade theory," a major rethinking of the theory of international trade.

Kindle blogs are fully downloaded onto your Kindle so you can read them even when you're not wirelessly connected. And unlike RSS readers which often only provide headlines, blogs on Kindle give you full text content and images, and are updated wirelessly throughout the day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting content, no charts :( 4 July 2009
By G. S. Snider - Published on
Krugman is the first read on my Kindle each evening. However, it's true that there are lots of refs to other blogs (which are slow on the kindle). More importantly, he references charts quite a lot, as one might expect, but the charts don't come through in the Kindle ed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Analysis 16 Oct 2009
By Joshua D. Haney - Published on
Mr. Krugman always provides excellent analysis of current events. It's easy to see why he was awarded a Nobel Prize. It's refreshing to read a thoughtful, well-argued and rational opinion that is evidence based and not shot through with ad hominem attacks.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thin content; poor choice for Kindle delivery 10 Nov 2008
By Catherine Michael - Published on
Perhaps Krug is too busy revising one of his books and writing his column for the big bucks, because the content of his blog is often thinner than a dime that's been on the railroad tracks. Half the time all you get is a link to somebody else's blog or column, and all too often the link is to a web site that requires registration for access, or that the Kindle Web browser can't handle, or the blog has a chart or graph that is unreadable on the Kindle, making this is a poor choice for Kindle delivery. So wait until Krug's book comes out (maybe the content will improve), or go read the blog on the Web if you're really interested in what other blogs Krug has been reading on a given day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Your entitled to your opinion - Read Krugman for the facts 3 Feb 2010
By R. Parenteau - Published on
My first read each time I pick up my Kindle !! Krugman provides the backup material needed by everyone who wants an honest informed understanding of our economic and financial situation. He does a great job, when needed, of pointing out the flaws in the opinon pieces of many self-proclaimed pundits. When you want the unvarnished facts along with the story, read Krugman !! Now if we could please get his diagrams on the Kindle too !! Paul Krugman: The Conscience of a Liberal by The New York Times Co.
