Product Description

Product Description

Paul Jessop and James Handle are two fourteen-year-olds who have known each other all their lives. One very warm day while out walking through the woods, not far from home, they see a naturist also walking through the woods towards them. Having never seen anyone walk about like this, their curiosity gets the better of them and they decide to follow him. It leads to them finding out about a naturist swim at their own local leisure centre. They want to find a way to get in to see what's going on, only it's far from straightforward, and, they're both very reserved boys. They manage to get in without being seen, but how? And do they get away with it? What will their parents say if they find out? All is revealed inside.

I bought this book last week and couldn't put it down once I had started reading it.

I also became a naturist as a teenager in the 1970s after I left home at the age of 16.

However, as is explained in the book, it would be more difficult nowadays for anyone under the age of 18 to go for a naturist swim or to join a naturist club without their parents' permission.

I think that this is a shame as, in my opinion, it means that teenagers are missing out on something that would most likely be good for them at that age.

All is explained in the book.

However, the only thing that spoiled it for me is that it is full of spelling and grammatical mistakes all the way through and I would advise the author to have it properly checked for spelling, grammar and punctuation by an expert if he is thinking of having it reprinted again.

Otherwise, a good read and I would recommend it for teenagers.

This book is a must for anyone tempted to try naturism.

The book starts off with the two main characters, Paul and James, walking through the woods, and whilst walking they have a chance encounter with a naturist who is also walking through the woods in the opposite direction. Having never experienced anything like this before they follow him. The next day they go out in the hope of seeing him again, but after waiting some time, and only seeing one clothed man very briefly, get up and walk about. One of them spots a folded up piece of paper which they assume has been dropped by this man. It turns out to be a flyer for a naturist swim. They're both very surprised by this and quickly work out that the man they saw was probably the same man they saw the day before. Then starts the build up to getting into this swim. Without wanting to give to much away, they do gain access! They quickly make new friends and meet other friends from school. Towards the end they go away for the weekend and have a wonderful time. Oh, and what do their parents say when they find out?

By the book and find out for yourself!
